活化廳 駐場計劃 (AAiR)  2011

「活化廳 駐場計劃 2011」 是一個期望打開藝術家／行動者／油麻地社區彼此參與和對話的駐場計劃。我們希望此計劃能作為一個平台，接駁藝術家到油麻地草根社區，從而進行不同類型的實驗計劃。駐場期間，藝術家將於油麻地生活約一個月，並以討論會、工作坊、藝術行動等不同的創作方式回應。

我們期望為駐場藝術家提供一個認識油麻地社區生活的體驗，並能從社區的觀察和和對話中，開闊認識這城市的角度。此計劃以藝術家﹣策展人，單對單的方式，為每位藝術家設計按其創作主題的駐場活動，如街坊導遊、考察等。計劃邀請來自亞洲不同城市的藝術家／行動者，期望藉此增進各地交流，並為跨地域連線提供基礎。

Wooferten's Art/activist in Residence (AAiR) 2011 is a residency programme for artist/activist to experience Yaumatei, a local grass-rooted community where Wooferten rooted. Artists with a social-critical concern who are working in different cities in Asia will be invited, to facilitate exchange of ideas among like-minded artists in the Asian art/activist network. 

During their residency, Artists will be able to pursue their art practices that engage with the local community network with the support of Wooferten, specific programs will also be designed in accordance with their artistic concern. e.g local trips guided, focus group discussions etc. Each session lasts for a month. 

With the assistance from the community network of Wooferten, public discussion, workshop, live performance or any art project/action suggested by the artists will be organized. We aim to provide opportunities for the artists to make connections with the community directly. The artists will also join public discussions to introduce their own practices and share their creativities by hosting a workshop open to participants from the local community.
