湯皇珍 <尋找城市裂縫 台北香港> 現場展演

台灣藝術家湯皇珍，將於本月廿八日於活化廳發表她的社區駐場成果總結。湯皇珍於活化廳已生活近一個月，期間到訪香港各處，並藉活化廳的社區網絡，訪問了不同街坊，開展了她的「尋找城市裂縫─由台北到香港」的創作計劃。
城市裂縫不只是物理上，也是心理上。藝術家藉著其外來眼光對社區的觀察，街坊訪問中，尋找城市發展中埋藏在社區記憶間的裂縫，可能是小時候的一個住處，可能已消失的街頭景觀...藝術家將以錄象訪談，文字訊息，影象，聲音與即興演出中相互交疊，再現個體心靈與城市溝通的失語狀態。演出亦包括她在《423藝術公民大遊行》中所拍到的片段，及一段與陪伴老父回鄉的片段，並置於演出中。

In Search Of Fractures In Cities: Taipei, Hong Kong” Live Performance

Tang Huang-chen   , our artist-in-residence from Taiwan, is going to present her accomplishments made during her stay in the community in front of us in Woo-fer-ten. She has been with us for almost a month. During the past few weeks, she visited different places in Hong Kong and, with the assistance of the network of Woo-fer-ten, interviewed her neighbors, in order to launch her art project In Search Of Fractures In Cities: From Taipei To Hong Kong.

Fractures in cities do not merely refer to physical cracks, but also to psychological ones. The artist inspected the community with her outsider perspective and interviewed her neighborhood. By doing so, she looked for the fractures in the recollections of the community under the overwhelming bulldozer progress. The fractures can be a home you used to live in, or a vanished cityscape.Tang Huang-chen will be visualizing the speechlessness of communications between individual souls and cities, by media including video interviews, text messages, images, sounds and impromptu performance. The show will also include footage that she shot in the “April 23^rd Art Citizens Parade” and a short clip about how she accompanied her father on a trip to the homeland.

There will be a farewell party after the show. All are welcomed.

台北城出現裂縫，遊晃著的我偶然就這麼一頭跌進縫裡，來不及思考，如德勒茲無頭的身體，我摔入那個狹長又深邃的穴洞，腦震盪外嗡嗡的耳鳴，腳跌跌撞撞，眼冒金星，長久失去連結的一團話語、聲音、甚至身體的空間知覺蜂擁如至，我「不知今夕何夕」。

接著，又一天，不知如何的機遇，我一處又一處發現這些裂縫有指標，像向我招呼的手勢，於是我來到香港，又回到父親的原鄉。

裂縫中有三層樓高中央入口兩戶對稱結構的公寓，有櫛次鱗比鎖在鐵皮牆裡屋瓦泛出青苔的日式屋群，有缺了腳的藤椅，霧了面的茶具，翻出籬笆外的茉莉花、圓仔花；媽媽會從那架在兩樹當中的曬衣竹竿間探出頭來叫我的小名──那之前之後沒時間注意，也沒心情看見，記憶被水泥結結實實封住無聲無息。這一次，五十年已經過去，裂縫擴張、分歧、陷落成一個水塘，在摩天樓環視下綠色安靜的水塘。
